Joshua sat up from his sleep, looking around him as the sunshine lit the entire island. "What is this place? It looks even worse in daylight." The wilderness around him looked more brown than green. Joshua began to realize that his location was uninhabited by man, except for him. He decided to go back to the wreckage to try and get more answers. He remembered the cloth he tied to the branch. Looking at it, he decided to go in the opposite direction. Moving through the thick vines, he kept his eyes straight forward. He could hear faint noises around him, but moved forward. Finally, the sand. The more he moved straight ahead, the more the vines opened to the place he woke from days before. The sun shining on the water made it look like a beach resort to him. He walked out from the vines, clearing himself of them. As he looked around, he noticed that the wreckage was gone. Joshua let out a sigh, lowered his head and realized he was at another side of the island. Even though it was morning, he knew he had no time to waste. So he began walking the sand. Even when he decided not to look at the wilderness, it seemed to still reach out at him. He moved closer to the edge of the water and continued walking forward. He began to come across debris and clothing that was part of the wrecked boat. He was relieved and sure that the boat was near.
