As the darkness began to engulf the brush, it began to get more and more difficult to see. The noises of birds and other animals began to get louder as I traveled through the wilderness. As Joshua walked faster and faster, he could now see the opening where he slept the night before. Before he exited the bushes completely, he tore his shirt from the bottom in a small strip of cloth. And then he wrapped the torn cloth onto a branch so he could remember the entry point to find the waterfall.
The skylight lit the opening enough for Joshua to see, but his surroundings were totally dark. He sat with his legs crossed and examined the ring on his hand. "Joshua and Margaret forever." The inscription inside the ring was confirmation to him that he was married. "Margaret? I will go back to the wreckage in the morning. For now, I have to rest." Joshua lay down on his back with his hands at his side, closed his eyes, and went to sleep.
