Written Letters
Juliette Madison and Calvin Peterson Jr. have been classmates in a small Arkansas town since second grade. For years, they secretly exchanged anonymous letters, hiding them in a hollow rock on a hillside. Calvin is the popular kid, while Juliette is often ignored or teased by his friends, and even by Calvin himself. He believes his pen pal is the popular Melanie Scott, never realizing there are two Juliettes. After a painful betrayal at prom, the letters stop.
Years later, Juliette is a rising editor in New York, still guarded and nursing a broken heart. Calvin’s football career and long-term relationship have ended. Feeling lost, he tries to reconnect with his old pen pal and accidentally starts writing again to Juliette, not realizing she now lives just one floor above where he thinks Melanie still lives. As they keep exchanging anonymous letters and their real lives get more tangled, Calvin begins dating Melanie in person while unknowingly falling for Juliette through their letters.
As clues start to surface and their past and present lives cross paths, Calvin and Juliette are forced to face the truth about their connection, both in their letters, through pages of clues, and in real life.
