Narutay attacked Fulch, all the while crying. Fulch dodged his attacks and waited for him to grow tired. Narutay fell to the floor and curled into a ball. Lunae came up to him and placed her hand on his head.
“He will not kill her, I’m sure of it,” Lunae said. Narutay was not convinced. Fulch came up to him and helped him up.
“We will get her back,” Fulch said. Narutay shrugged everyone off and ran off. Fulch wanted to go after him, but Lunae stopped him. They had things they had to do.
“You ready?” Lunae asked, Fulch nodded. They pulled the water from the earth and made an altar, and poured in their water. Fulch said the incantation, and they were transported to the chamber of water. The water was swirling around them faster than they had ever seen water go. They looked at each other and felt like the water was angry.
“Return!” the water demanded. Lunae pulled out the glass tube and poured the water into the air. It floated, and Lunae and Fulch could see the blood unmixed with the water. Then it went into the swirling vortex. A teal light could be seen shining brighter and brighter as the water slowed down. The water thanked them.
“How do we stop the fulcrum of acquiescence?” Lunae asked. The water started swirling again.
“You must burn the crystal with ice and then burn the castor. Breaking the bond between them,” the water said. Lunae and Fulch knew that meant they needed Frayusha and Linth.
“The Porpura people have been enslaved, and the Rhudons are about to be enslaved once more. Learn your powers, all of them. Once the union is complete, more power will be bestowed on you,” The water said. Then it kicked them out. Fulch and Lunae stood there staring at each other, unsure of what to do next. Linth came up to them, reading their faces.
“Bad news?” Linth said. Fulch came over to him and placed his arm around him.
“We’re going to need you, my friend, more than ever,” Fulch said. Lunae came over to them and smiled.
“Let’s get married,” she said. Fulch immediately blushed.
“Are you sure?” he said. Lunae nodded. Linth let out a yell and grabbed both of them and picked them up.
“I’ll bring the grog!” Linth said.
