Lunae was frantically searching through the books for any additional information about where this fulcrum of acquiescence was. She realized she needed to go to the temple and find more information from Gunnar. She needed Fulch, but ever since she got this ring, she felt very much alone. The headaches were increasing, and she felt as if she were going insane. She was lost in her own mind, hearing her ancestors talk, that she almost didn’t hear Fulch yelling out her name. Once she realized he was calling, she shook her head and walked out of the chamber. Fulch was looking at her with a smile on his face. Lunae liked seeing him like this. Everyone had smiles on their faces these days, all that is except for Tanla.
“We need to go to the temple again,” Lunae said. Fulch’s face grew dim.
“What if he’s there?” He said. Lunae put her hand on his shoulder.
“Then we will fight him together. Gunnar must have put clues in the temple somewhere; we just have to look. We can’t go to the Rhudon world blind,” Lunae said. Fulch agreed, and they left to go find Linth.
Linth was sitting by a tree talking to Tanla. They were talking about Verdom. Linth noticed them and stood up. Tanla bowed her head, but didn’t get up. Fulch took a mental note of that.
“We are going to the temple,” Fulch said. Linth looked confused.
“Couldn’t Shardoe be there?” Linth said. That’s when Tanla stood up.
“Yes, but we have to try. There may be information that could help us. We have to risk it,” Lunae said. Tanla immediately spoke up.
“Let me come with you!” She said. Fulch and Lunae looked at each other and didn’t know what to do.
“It’s too dangerous,” Fulch said. Tanla got aggravated.
“I want my revenge! If he’s there, then I’ll have a chance to avenge Verdom. I deserve that,” she said. Fulch was going to fight it some more, but Lunae put her hand on Fulch, making him stop.
“As long as you know that you might not come back,” Lunae said. Tanla nodded.
“If he’s there, then we’ll make sure you have your revenge,” Lunae said. Fulch was uncertain, but he didn’t want to fight Lunae in front of everyone. Tanla left to go get her things, and Linth had a stern look on his face.
“You'd better protect her,” Linth said as he walked out, not wanting to hear what they had to say. Then it was just Lunae and Fulch. Lunae could tell by the look on Fulch’s face that he was not happy.
“Alright, let me have it,” she said. Fulch didn’t like that and glared at her.
“How could you endanger her? She’s been through enough. Now you take her to possibly her death?” Fulch said. Lunae understood where he was coming from, and she knew that, really, nothing was going to change his mind.
“She needs this, and she’s not a child. She can choose how she goes out. She deserves revenge,” Lunae said. Fulch huffed and threw his hands up in the air, while turning his back towards her.
“She’ll be ok, I know it because you won’t let anything happen to her. You will protect her,” Lunae said, putting her hand on his shoulder. He looked at her and smiled.
“We shall see, I just hope you know what you’re doing,” Fulch said. Lunae then told him to go prepare. He left, and the headache came back stronger than before. She sat down and noticed that her hands were shaking.

They were all prepared, so Lunae poured the puddle. Lunae could tell that Tanla was nervous, so she told her to hold her breath, and she’ll be okay. Tanla nodded while gripping her sword. Once they got to the temple, they immediately were on guard. Tanla and Fulch pulled out their swords, and Lunae had a water blade already made. They were quiet, standing there waiting to hear anything, but nothing. They were in the main hall, and Fulch had an idea.
“Let’s go to the library,” Fulch said as he started to walk towards it. Tanla was following and looked back at Lunae, who was touching her head.
“The orb has the answers,” Chindra said. Lunae then yelled for them to stop.
“The orb of memories, I need to get to that,” Lunae said. Fulch didn’t question, but he was concerned. They decided to go to the Master’s chambers to look for the orb of memories. Once there, Fulch had this guilt of going into his chambers; it felt wrong. Lunae could tell, and she came up to him and rubbed his back.
“He would understand,” she said. As they walked into the room, there was an eerie feeling about it, like the Master was somehow watching. Fulch quickly went towards the orb of memories. Before touching it, he decided to take a cloth and place it over it, and grabbed it. Lunae then asked for it, and Fulch was hesitant. He gave it to her, and Lunae held it and started to get a tingling sensation in her hands. She was transported into her mind to an old memory of her and Gunnar playing with the orb. He asked her to hold it and say some words, and she went straight into a trance. He then whispered in her ear.
“I hid it in the old tree. The one where the water used to live. Between the two mountains.” Gunnar said. Lunae was back, she told them what she saw, and they both had smiles on their faces.
“We need to see a map of the world. The Master taught me about the history of the Rhudons and explained what the tree looks like. I am familiar with the two mountains; I have seen them from afar,” Fulch said. That’s when they decided to go to the library. As they walked in, they were immediately taken to the ground by their water being pulled out of them. Lunae looked around and finally saw three Porpura priests. Tanla was screaming, and Fulch and Lunae were starting to pull the water towards themselves.
“We shouldn’t kill them,” Fulch said, as he tried to take as little of the priest's water as possible.
“Fusht that!” Lunae said as she stood up and pulled all the water towards her. She was enjoying it again, and once she started pulling from Fulch and Tanla, a blinding headache came over her, making her stop. The priests were dead, and Lunae was holding her head. Fulch got up, concerned about Lunae, and came over to her and put his hands on her arms.
“Lunae what’s going on?” Fulch asked. Lunae shook her head and walked away. They walked to the end of the library and saw the altar.
“Lunae, you need to expel what you’ve been taking in. I do too, but you first,” Fulch said. Lunae wanted to fight it, but decided against it. She put her hands in the altar and immediately felt better. Fulch was next, and he had a deep sigh as the water purified him. Tanla stood back and was captivated by everything she saw. Once Fulch was done, he went straight towards the maps. He pulled out the Rhudon's maps and searched for the one with the two mountains. He found it, and they spread it out to look at it.
“See here, right in between the mountains used to be a temple. It was their sacred place. One tree still remains. Not sure why they haven’t cut it down or destroyed the temple, but it’s still there. The master took me to see it once. He said Gunnar told him this was the most special place. Now I understand why,” Fulch said.
“Alright, take the map and let’s get out of here before any more priests show up,” Lunae said. Tanla was a little disappointed, but not enough to stick around. Once they got back, Fulch went looking for Linth. After some time, he couldn’t find him. Fulch came up to Lunae, fear in his eyes.
“I can’t find him, and Hashmire is missing as well,” Fulch said. Lunae knew what this meant.
“They went to your world,” she said. Fulch put his hand to his mouth, not sure what to do.
“We can’t go after them. I don’t know where to start looking. We must trust that they get the things they need and come back to us in one piece,” Fulch said. Lunae was worried; she didn’t want to see anymore death. They sat there impatiently, praying for the best.
