The opening notes here spoke of high alarm, veined with fatherly rebuke. Having fended off attack in "It Don't Matter", here he appeared to be doing what he was most famous for: turning the tables. This must have been one of those "bolt of lightning" moments that Mom and Dad mentioned.

If the subject hadn't been so serious, she might have laughed at that second verse, as it sounded like a classic thing for a father of girls to say.
