Chapter 22

Chapter 22

“Wait…..36 28 12"

“What Is that?”

Tyler nodded towards the picture

“The three bears”

I felt sick. This was a family combo of sex offenders who used their twelve year old son to gain the trust of other children so they could kidnap them.

The safe opened and another box inside, The key fit that box and several thumb drives and disks inside. It’s not a failsafe.

“Tyler, there’s a button inside that drawer. Hit it.”

He pushed the button and we heard something slide, the carpet bunched up on the floor.

I pulled it back to find Ian staring up at me. Hi Ma! What took you guys so long?

The Boys and Brianna had drilled a hole through the basement wall, got into underground jail cells and were getting all the children out and to safety.

We Couldn’t help but smile at the fact that our kids were seemingly better at what we did than we were.

“How’d you know?”

“It wasn’t hard, we went to the Court office, got the layout and looked at his previous records. He’d kept victims in his house before, we figured he’d done the same here… Didn’t see any need to alarm him.”

Tyler and I both Smirked then laughed.

After we cleared the basement , we went back upstairs and got Kade.

“Where’s your wife and son?” “I’ll never tell.”

Eric and Brianna came up to me with an address book.

It had clippings of old abduction cases and in the very back was a picture of the family with an address. 2913 Westbrook, Orlando Florida.

I threw it at Mccullough. “You and your wife are going away for a very long time and you’re the ones that hung yourselves…. The irony.”

Tyler and I nodded at the kids as if to tell them good job. we loaded up the victims got them to the hospital, Most of them were severely dehydrated, Malnourished and it looked like they had their “Favorites” because only two of the seven had sexual trauma. The rest were apparently

Just in holding for sale later on.

We got the son into major therapy and checked in on him from time to time. He’s expected to make a full recovery.

Dad and Mom are serving life sentences with no chance of parole.

Chase met us as we were coming back and we told him that our kids beat us to finding the victims to which Chase seemed as

peeved and impressed as we did.

“Looks like you got your first big bust, Congratulations.” “This is cause for celebration, lets go!"
