Authority
I asked Him to heal my servant.
He wanted to come to my house,
but I know authority when I see it.
The same way I order my soldier about
is the same way His power shakes out.
I can already tell He knows what He’s doing.
He needn’t come to my house.
He just says the words,
and already I know
that what I’ve asked
has been done.
I believe in the One
who told me that this son
has been healed.
Thank you Jesus!
Matthew 8:5-13
Isaiah 53:7
Oppressed, beaten and bruised
so we didn’t suffer the same fate.
Silent before His accusers.
I ask myself,
would I have joined His abusers?
Led like a lamb to the slaughter,
in hopes He could call us son and daughter.
He kept His mouth closed,
And only God knows
What He would have said
Had it been me instead
“He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open His mouth”
Isaiah 53:7 NLT
Harvest
Abundant Fruit.
Lazy workers.
What if we
accepted the plea
to be
fruitful?
The harvest isn’t scarce–the laborers are.
Why do we live
as though the scars of Jesus
weren’t worth sharing?
“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest’”
Matthew 9:37-38
