After a drugged car crash leaves him disoriented and cuffed to a hospital bed, Foster Hale — Amber Martin’s estranged son — discovers he’s been targeted by the same shadowy filmmaking cabal that orchestrated her death. As hallucinations blur with playback, Foster realizes he’s trapped inside a psychological experiment run by legendary director Elliot Crane, who has been using “Scene 47” as a template for memory manipulation for decades. Hospital rooms become soundstages, doctors become crew, and Foster’s own past appears spliced, rewritten, and projected back at him. When he uncovers footage of his mother pregnant and imprisoned in a secret “test reel,” Foster must fight through layers of fabricated reality to reclaim the truth — before Crane edits him out entirely. But the deeper he goes, the more he realizes: he isn’t escaping the reel. He was born inside it.
