In the wake of Aelaria’s fall, its surviving people stand beneath unfamiliar skies, scattered far from the world they once called home.

But exile has not placed them beyond the reach of Zharu’un.

As signs of his corruption begin to surface across the mortal world, Amara Silversong, Ornasi, Darkhan, Nerun, and the remaining Aelari realize that survival alone will not be enough. Their numbers are too few, their strength too diminished, and the darkness before them too vast to face alone.

Their only hope lies among peoples who have no reason to trust them.

Across ancient forests, mountain halls, northern clans, and proud orcish lands, the Aelari must seek alliances with civilizations divided by old rivalries and shaped by traditions wholly unlike their own. Among them rise champions whose choices may determine whether those scattered peoples stand together—or fall separately.

For Amara, the journey is also one of grief, change, and the difficult discovery that preserving the light of Aelaria does not mean rebuilding the world exactly as it was.
