Chapter 1

The Love Language of God

The Love Language of God

Have you ever paused to think about what love truly is? Real love reaches deeper than emotions or moments. Think about the first time a newborn is placed into their mother’s arms that instant bond, pure and unexplainable. It’s beautiful, powerful, and real. But even that is just a glimpse of the love God has for us.

You may have heard about God, but have you ever experienced His love? The kind of love that doesn’t judge or abandon, but welcomes, forgives, and restores. God loved the world so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, so we could know Him not as a distant figure, but as a loving Father. Through Jesus, we are invited into a relationship, not a religion.

And God didn’t stop there. He gave us the Holy Spirit a constant companion to comfort, guide, and reassure us when life feels uncertain. This is what faith is all about not just believing in something we can't see but choosing to live in the confidence that God has a plan for our lives. A plan shaped by His love.

Understanding the Four Types of Love

There are many ways in which love manifests in relationships.

However, they are not all the same. Let’s look at the four types of love:

Agape is the highest form of love it’s the kind of love that God has for us. It’s unconditional, selfless, and never-ending. Unlike human love, which can change or fade, Agape love stays the same no matter what.

God showed us this love by sending His Son, Jesus, to die for us, even when we didn’t deserve it. This love doesn’t depend on what we’ve done, it’s a gift. And God continues to walk with us, comfort us, and guide us every day.

Agape love is what makes a relationship with God so powerful. It’s not about religion it’s about being fully known and fully loved by the One who created you.

1 John 4:9 (KJV)

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

This Relationship with God develops through a genuine communication with God, where a person spends time each day in deep, personal communion with Him sharing in honest and intimate communion laying bare their heart and aligning their spirit with His.

Through this intimate connection, faith grows, and a true bond with God is established. It is not only a relationship, but He also desires to have fellowship with you. Fellowship means you have long and intimate conversations with him daily. God’s love is pure, and unconditional love.

 In Luke 10:27 Jesus says,

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself (KJV).

God Showing His Love:

Jesus came to redeem his people back to the father. He became the ultimate sacrifice for sin that we may become free from death and our final reward of hell being our sentence of death. He paid the debt of sin so we can have everlasting life, our final reward having life eternally with him in heaven.

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Philia Pronounced in English:

Phileo Or can be pronounced: Fil lay oh

Friendship Kind of Love

This type of love can be built through shared experiences, vacations, meals, church events, and serving together in ministry. Friendship love, often referred to as philia in Christian theology, holds a special place in the Christian understanding of relationships.

It is the type of love that reflects mutual respect, loyalty, and shared values between individuals. In the Bible, friendship is not just a casual association but a deep bond that mirrors the love God has for His people.

Proverbs 17:17 KJV says, “A friend loves at all times,” emphasizing the constancy and faithfulness that should define Christian friendships. These relationships are grounded in truth and selflessness, often becoming a means through which God's grace and presence are revealed.

One of the clearest biblical examples of friendship love is the relationship between David and Jonathan. Their story in 1 Samuel demonstrates a powerful, covenantal friendship rooted in faith, mutual support, and deep affection. Jonathan loved David "as his own soul" (1 Samuel 18:1 KJV), and they stood by each other even when it cost them greatly.

This kind of love mirrors Christ’s teaching that there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for a friend (John 15:13 KJV). Friendship in the Christian sense is not based on what one can gain, but on a commitment to walk alongside each other in truth and trials.

Christian friendship also serves a spiritual purpose: it helps believers grow in holiness and draws them closer to God. True friends encourage one another in faith, hold each other accountable, and offer wise counsel grounded in Scripture.

Ecclesiastes KJV 4:9-10 reminds us that two are better than one because they can help each other up when one falls. In this way, Christian friendship love reflects God's own natural relational, faithful, and enduring love. It is a gift that not only enriches our earthly lives but also points us to the eternal communion we are invited to share with God and His people.

Being a friend of God is one of the most profound expressions of love in the Christian faith. Scripture tells us that through faith and obedience, we are invited into a personal relationship with God that transcends servanthood.

In John 15:15 KJV, Jesus says, “I no longer call you servants… Instead, I have called you friends,” signifying a shift to a relationship based on intimacy, trust, and shared purpose.

This friendship is not earned through perfection but given through grace, as seen in the life of Abraham, who was called a friend of God because of his faith (James 2:23 KJV). To be a friend of God means walking closely with Him, listening to His voice, and aligning our hearts with His will. It is a relationship marked by love, loyalty, and the deep joy of being known and cherished by the Creator.

Storge Pronounced in English Stargay:

Love between a Parent and their Children

Imagine your father and mother saying, "We love you" and then showing up for you not just lip service but in every way. Protection and being taught how to live a holy Christian life.

As a believer, I’ve come to realize just how critical the early years of a child’s life are, especially from birth to age six. During this time, children are like sponges, absorbing everything around them emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This is the time when we, as parents, have the greatest opportunity to shape their character and instill godly principles that will guide them for the rest of their lives.

For children, this is particularly significant. As a father, I’ve come to understand that my role goes beyond just providing for their physical needs, I’m called to be an example of what it means to be a godly man. Boys and girls learn how to walk in integrity, strength, and faith by watching their fathers and mothers.

If you fail to model this by the time they reach six years old, I know that it can be much harder to correct those gaps later.

The foundation I lay during those formative years will shape their understanding of who they are and their relationship with God.

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Sadly, I can see how our society has drifted far from God’s design. The world tells us to “do whatever feels good,” disregarding the biblical blueprint that God established for families. God Created Man and Woman to be one, we see this in the first book of the Bible. God’s blueprint is a perfect union of a natural born man and natural born woman to marry, build a life together as unto the Lord. We will go into detail about what this means in the coming chapters.

When parents are absent whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually there’s a void that no one else can truly fill. I’ve seen the consequences of this brokenness, and it’s heartbreaking to witness how the enemy is targeting men, knowing that if he can destroy the father’s influence, he can destabilize the entire family.

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

But I also know that all is not lost. God has equipped us with the tools to fight this battle.

As the Bible reminds us in:

Ephesians 6:12 KJV, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We don’t have to stand by helplessly — we are called to rise as people of God and take the fight to the enemy. Through prayer, faith, and standing on God’s Word, we can protect and lead our families in the way God intended.

I believe that true revival doesn’t start in a church service or through a famous preacher on tv. Revival begins in my own heart.

When I humble myself before God and allow Him to transform me, that fire spreads to my family, my community, and eventually the body of Christ. It’s a ripple effect — when we seek God together, we can change the world around us.

This is a call to action for me and for every person who desires to follow Christ. It’s time for us to step up, to lead our families with courage and conviction, and to stand in the gap for the next generation.

We have the power, through Christ, to make a difference — to snatch souls from the flames of hell and guide them toward the hope and salvation found in Jesus. Revival starts here, in my heart, and in the hearts of all who are willing to take up this call.

Eros: Sexual Love

God’s Plan between A Natural Born Man and a Natural Born Woman within confines of Godly Marriage

It refers to romantic or passionate love—the kind of love found in relationships between spouses. It involves attraction, desire, and emotional connection.

Eros is a gift from God when expressed within the right boundaries—as in marriage. It's the kind of love that brings people together in intimacy and affection.

Let’s Read the Warning about Sex Outside of Holy Marriage.

Read: Galatians 5:16-25 KJV   Walk and talk in the Spirit of God

16 This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

We should focus on the Fruit of the Spirit.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Love is dominating, love is a way of Life. Love should be dominating everything you do in your life. It's a spiritual experience.

Let me give an example of how spiritual warfare can just pop up out of now where. The Love of God will help you in the hour of your trouble. We must learn how to tap into the power of who resides in us. For the believer we power from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as we will discuss in the coming chapters.

At 3:00 this morning, I was suddenly awakened by spiritual warfare. The enemy entered my room, trying to disturb me in my sleep.

I stood firm and said, “Be silent and leave my room.” He responded, “I have a reason to be here.” I replied, “And I have every reason for you not to be—because you have no right to disrupt my rest.”

Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Has that happened to you? Your mind becomes inundated with bad thoughts. It wakes you up in the middle of the night, you feel like somebody is standing in the room watching you. The demonic spirit's trying to come in and attack you in your sleep,

Matthew 11:28 KJV Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. That means you have authority, and you have the power, you have the dominion to defeat the enemy of your soul. True power comes from God.

We need to know who we are in Christ, through the power given to us by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We need to walk and talk with the authority given to us. We have the dominion and power through Christ to pull down any stronghold in the spirit realm.

See yourself through the lens of God’s love. We were spoken into existence by God himself. Do you realize that when He breathed into Adam, He imparted His very own DNA?

That’s right the bible said He breathed lives, plural. In that single breath, you and I were there from the very beginning. We carry the divine DNA of God, the source of our life—and with that comes incredible benefits.

God knows what we have need of.

Remaining in the flow of divine love means staying under God's protection and anointing. When you stay connected to His love, you remain shielded from negative influences. You aren’t ruled by the things that try to come and attack you in your mind. When they try to take root, you don’t let them.

The enemy may talk to you, but all you must do is say, be gone in Jesus Name. I send u back to which you came. You have no place here; you have no authority over my life.

Imagine an eternity where you never eat or drink, and demons torment you daily without any relief or escape. It's a perpetual state of suffering and deprivation

That's your future devil. Please Don't let the Devil be your future!

There is an influx of demonic forces trying to tell you that you are not who you are. They're trying to tell you that you were born a certain way. No, you were not, if you're confused about what you are, Christ will tell you what you are. If you have surgically changed your body, God can heal you from the inside out, you are designed for a purpose. You are not a mistake; God has a destiny for your life.

In the unseen realms, a fierce battle rages not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. As Christians, we are not spectators but soldiers, equipped by God with divine weapons to stand firm in truth and righteousness. This book unveils the reality of spiritual warfare and the authority believers have in Christ.

Through Scripture, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are called to overcome the enemy’s schemes. Step into the fight with courage, knowing victory is already won through Jesus Christ.

Your identity comes from Christ.

People often lose their sense of identity because they’ve disconnected from the flow of God’s love. When we stop receiving and sharing in His love, we forget who we are in Him We are beloved, chosen, and called with purpose.

They have substituted their love of God for things in this world.  They rely on things that feel like love but leave them empty at the end of the night. A false sense of self has been accepted from the lies of the demonic realm of satan, people have believed the lie of the easy life, obtaining power outside of God.

The current saying is “what is your truth”, if it is true for then it is right. If your truth is not backed up by the word of God, then your truth is false. I rely on the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit to guide my life. Being spirit lead, as in the Holy Spirit of God.

What's going on in the world today? Have you looked at it through the lens of love?

When I look at this world through the lens of love, it hurts me because I see people who need help and don’t have it. They don't know where to go. Society has been taught whatever feels good do it. No matter how right it feels, if it doesn’t align with God’s Word, it’s simply not right. We don't have time to play games.

It's time to go out and do what you are called to do.

It’s time to step into all that God has prepared for you. He has placed dreams within you, called you with purpose, and poured out His anointing. He’s given you His peace, his love, and his abundant mercy. Now is the time to walk in it.

He wants you to be fully mature and use what he gave you for his glory.

God is calling you to walk in everything He’s given you. He’s offering you what I like to call “walking around money” heavenly provision for your daily journey.

I used to tell my mom, “I need some walking around money.”
Well, here it is:

Walk in the love of God.
Walk in His anointing.
Walk in His peace.
Walk with your Heavenly Father

The One who turns everything for your good.

We need God more than He needs us. He created us with a purpose, and we are not mistakes. It’s a blessing to know Jesus. It’s important to remember that despite Satan’s attempt to distract us, it is vital that we understand true love and purpose through Christ.

Many people in the world equate love with sexual relationships, but true love is found through Christ. Genuine love comes from kinship with fellow believers and through a relationship with God. For those who are single or divorced of lost their spouse due to death.

God is your ultimate source of love and comfort. As believers, we are the bride of Christ and should focus on His teachings and love. True love encompasses peace, joy, and all the fruits of the spirit described in the Bible. Acts and Galatians illustrate that Jesus brings healing and transformation, even to those who seem troubled or out of control.

Have you looked at the man Called Legion in the bible thru the eyes of love? Read Luke 8:26-29 KJV. He looked at him through the father's eyes, a man who had no family anymore, a man who was destitute a man who was feared by people, a man who had been in the penal system, a man who could break a chain like it was a piece of paper, a man who was demon-possessed for several years.

He was in fear and yet he had enough fortitude when he saw Jesus hit the shore, he ran to Jesus, and he wanted to know, why are you here? Jesus asked him, what is your name, and he said my name is legion, for we are many.

In a world filled with distractions and shallow substitutes, many are searching for meaning in things that can never truly satisfy. The deeper truth is this: nothing can take the place of what only God can give. There’s no substitute for His love, peace, and purpose. Don’t trade what’s real for a temporary imitation, God offers the genuine, lasting fulfillment your soul longs for

Jesus Christ holds all power and authority, and through Him, we as believers are empowered to conquer the enemy. By His victory through the cross, His resurrection, and His triumph over death, hell, and the grave, Jesus has given us the strength, through the Holy Spirit, to walk in victory and overcome every attack of the enemy.

Jesus Christ restored dominion back that Adam lost when he sinned. He handed it to you and me when he left this world.

Your words have power. Jesus said we are snared by the words that come out of our mouth.

Proverbs 6:2 (KJV)

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

You can either speak life, or you can speak death.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

God wants me to let you know, speak life, to the things that need life and speak death to the things that need death. If there's a curse, you break it, send it back to the enemy.

God wants you to be everything that he designed you to be. He did not design you to be a weak small thing that has no power. When you look in the mirror, what does he see? He should see the reflection of God; we are in his image and his likeness. We should see him.

Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

Pray This Over Yourself.

I declare freedom over every area of my life that is not aligned with God’s will. In the Name of Jesus, I break every chain and release myself from the enemy’s grip. I speak life into the places where God’s purpose should flourish, and I reject anything from my past that has stolen my focus and identity. By the power of Jesus, I stand firm in who I am called to be, walking in His love, truth, and victory. Bring healing, which means for me nothing broken, nothing missing.

Amen and so be it.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

How many have felt trapped? Have you found a place in your life where there's nothing but blackness around you and you see no light. Is that not where we were before Christ came into our lives?

The Story of My Salvation encounter with Jesus Christ!

July 27, 1988, my dad was pastoring a church in Arizona. I needed Jesus I was scared. All the lights were out. It was the middle of the day, and I was a seven-year-old boy.

A dark room can be kind of spooky for a little kid, and yet I walked up to the altar. I laid my face in that altar and said, “God, I need you because I see this dark world around me, and I cannot do it by myself.” That's where it started. God himself walked me through the Sinners Prayer.

He said repeat after me, Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart. Make me a new person. I repent of all my sins, I denounce satan and all his ways.

I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and was raised up on the third day. My old nature is gone; I am made new thru the blood of Jesus Christ.

We Must be Made aware of the Unseen Battle of darkness and Light.

In the unseen realms, a fierce battle rages, not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness.

Part of my life story is in the chapters of this book. I pray that it may send you on your own journey to discover who you are in Christ, and where you will grow from here.

I strive daily to lead by example, encouraging others to give their best for the Kingdom. Time is short. Every day is a chance to reach someone for Christ through our actions, words, or deeds. Let us be about our father’s business. In all I do, I serve as unto the Lord. My job is not my source God is. And His benefits are truly out of this world.

Think about what an arrow. What is it created to do? Was it designed to stay in the quiver, comfortable and protected? No, it was made to be aimed at and shot by a warrior at a target, to deliver a blow in battle.

It is the design of the enemy of our soul to steal the youth and vitality of the zeal we have for God. We are so concerned with the cares of this world that we have lost the concept of reality around us. How can we face the reality around us, when we are in denial of our own surroundings. God is calling us back to himself.

We are forcefully vaccinated everyday of our life with the pressures of this world. Our Vision of reality is heavily medicated by the disease of Sin. Yet we cannot move forward into what God has promised until we become part of his Family. Jesus is alive forever more. He Paid the Ultimate Price, taking our place in death. That you and I will have eternal life

We will only know the Victory when we rely on God’s all-knowing Power and Knowledge of The Unknown Reality of the unforeseen future of your Destiny in Him! How do I feel?

We cannot rely on feelings. Feelings can let you down. God knows u our name, your situation, trials and tribulations.

It Is not time to give up on this fight, remember God has you in the palm of his hand. The battle is not yours it is the Lord's. Stand and see the salvation of the Lord. God has not brought you here to leave and let you finish the battle on your own.

Salvation is The Starting Place

Read John 3:15-18 KJV

15 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

Declare this over yourself today:

God has a destiny for my life. He is the everlasting father. He is my Prince of Peace. He is the Alpha and Omega—The beginning and the end. He is the everlasting father. He is mine and I am His.

Jesus is the doctor in the operating room. He is the lawyer in the courtroom. He is my everlasting peace.

He is my everything, my all in all.
He is the will that drives my will, the very core of who I am.
He is my life, my center, my source of comfort.
He is my banner in battle, my sword in the fight, my shield in the storm.
He is the oil of my anointing, the foundation of my identity, the calm of my peace.

My dominion flows from Him.
My authority is rooted in Him.
My very existence is because of Him.

Hallelujah! I belong to Him, and He belongs to me.
God has a plan for your Life. We need to seek him and find out what our journey is about.

Read Psalm 28:6 KJV

His yoke is easy and the burden Light.

Sin will take you further than you want to go--further than you want to pay. It will take you to a place where you're destitute and you have nothing left.

 Read Isaiah 51:16 KJV

There is no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against thee in judgment shall can be condemned.

Prayer Time:

Lord, I thank you for salvation and paying the ultimate price for my sin at calvary. As I build my life with you at my core, I thank you for your protection and peace. No matter what I will face in my life, I know I will have you there to guide and fight for me. I know I am not alone, and I am called with a purpose. In Jesus Name Amen.
