I adjusted my dress and walked towards his room.
He had to be around, he had nowhere else to go.
I banged on the door, as innocently as ever.
"Adrien!", I screamed, he was meant to be around, hopefully.
"Adrie-", the door opened on my scream, a blonde sleepy man now in front of me.
"What in the world is your problem, Aurora?", He asked, clearing the sleep from his eyes.
"I'm pregnant".
He groaned and shut the door, the sound of him landing on the bed very explicit.
"Adrien, I'm not joking!", I exclaimed, rubbing my temple.
Of course, he didn't believe it.
The door opened slightly, as he appeared once more.
"Miss Aurora, what did I ever do to you?", He seemed tired.
"Adrien, this is not a joke", I said, hoping to convince him.
"Okay", he said, leaning on the door, still very sleepy. "Then who?"
"Who got me pregnant?", I asked, clarifying.
"Yes", He confirmed. "Who did the deed?"
"I don't know, I can't remember".
And he shut the door once more.
"If you are really pregnant Aurora, then go sit down, find out who got you pregnant, then come back and knock on this door", He said, ending the conversation.
I sighed and knocked lightly again, "I'm sorry, let's talk when you're less sleepy", I said, as gently as I could.
It didn't really sound like me.
The word 'Gentle'.
That meant I had to go see him.
The one who said I was pregnant.
I walked towards the garden, holding up my dress as I wrestled with the leaves and vines.
Mom constantly refused to have them removed.
I could already see his hand, tattoos and all, grabbing yet another cigarette.
He was in the river.
"This is a river, not a pool", I said, finally getting to his spot.
"Pardon me, princess" he said, putting the cigarette in his mouth, "I'm only cherishing life".
I went closer to him, kneeling and raising my dress as I leaned closer.
"What made you think I'm pregnant?", I asked, staring at him.
He came closer, changing his original position.
"Is that your only question, princess?", He smirked.
I came closer, trying to whisper, but people could be lurking around. "What more questions are there to ask?"
"Nothing", He answered, that smirk still annoying me.
"It's obvious you're pregnant.", He said, handing me a cigarette.
I grabbed it and broke it into two, letting it fall to the floor, "That was not my question".
He smiled and grabbed the bisected cigarette, sighing, "Help me get my clothes".
"Do I look like your maid?", I retorted, getting up and adjusting my dress.
"Well then", He grinned, "Should I get it myself?, I'm sure you'll love that".
I walked to the bench furiously, grabbing his clothes and throwing them at him.
His eyes widened, "Wait princess, don't-"
But it was way too late.
They all landed in the water, trousers, shirt, and unspeakables.
I groaned as I hit myself, me and my anger issues.
He looked at me, his eyes fierce, "That was silk clothing from the Queen of Tamen".
I looked to the side, trying to act ignorant, though I felt very sorry, "And silk clothing from the Queen of Tamen can't dry?"
Suddenly, he grabbed my hands, pulling me and my dignity into the water. "What's your problem?!", I screamed, as I tried cleaning off the water on my face.
He placed a finger on my mouth, "Your father is coming, stay still".
Then my heart stopped.
I hurriedly tried to get out of the water, I should have never sought information from a confused man himself.
Now I was soaking in the water with him.
He pulled me back, placing his hand on the floor to let my dad know someone was there.
Bathing.
And he went back.
I quickly climbed out, squeezing the water out of my dress.
"When I told you you were pregnant", He said. "You didn't look confused.
You looked like I just confirmed your suspicions".
My hands slowly left my dress as I turned to look at him. "What prompted you to say it?"
He grinned, "Why are you asking all these questions like you're not pregnant?"
"Answer me!".
He ran his fingers through his hair, coming out of the pool.
My eyes closed on instinct, this was all my fault.
I felt him standing next to me, he never did learn personal space.
"You can answer my questions, I'm listening", I said. I could almost feel his smirk in my arteries.
"You'd have to go to my lab", He said. "And you can open your eyes".
"Why?", I asked for both responses.
He placed a hand on my shoulder, whispering yet again, "The answers are in my lab. And I'm clothed".
I opened my eyes, grabbed him immediately and pushed him forward. I didn't know where his lab was but I knew it was somewhere within this garden.
I had no idea why someone so malicious and sinister had his base in a place filled with sunflowers and roses.
I also didn't understand why he was tasked with ensuring the good health of all women in this kingdom.
"Romeo", I said, addressing him by name.
He didn't care to turn back. "Yes, my princess?"
"What do you think is the fate of an unmarried pregnant girl in this palace?", I asked hoping he had learnt a bit on this sort of thing, since his life was basically focused on women.
Romeo turned around a bit to see my face, before looking back at the path.
In the case of Princess Aurora", He started. "She's in a safe spot, after all, she's the only daughter and last kid".
I took a deep breath, relief rushing through me.
"Either that or they'll sell Miss Aurora as a slave since she's a girl and her pregnancy will ruin their reputation".
"But that's not likely", He added, grinning.
I held myself from pinning him down and strangling the life out of him.
He stopped in front of a building, flowers and vines surrounding it. The place was purely white, not a tint of another colour, except for the flowers of course.
He opened it slowly, "And remember, no matter what, make sure you tell your mom today", He said to me.
"Just simply say you want me dead, so you can finally sleep in peace", I replied. Telling my mom was the last thing I would ever think of.
"Listen to me, Aurora", He turned to me, his expression lacking that flirtatious look. "Make sure you tell her".
Then I understood.
That wasn't a request.
I nodded as he smiled at me, "Thank you".
His attention turned to the door as he pushed it open, grabbing my hands and guiding me in.
The entire room was basically shelves, drugs, more drugs and then one lonely book on his table titled, 'LEGENDS'.
"This is the most boring room I've seen all year", I commented.
He giggled, "It gets better at Chapter 2".
I sighed and ignored him, picking up the book, "I'm still waiting for how you came to that conclusion, concerning my pregnancy".
"It was so easy-"
And I stopped listening.
Cause, I finally remembered it.
"Romeo", I said, turning to him, "I'm going to meet my mother".
He looked confused, "Right now?"
I nodded, "I finally found him...The man who also owns this child".
I kept the book on the table, running towards the palace. I didn't know why my mother needed to know so much, but if so..
Then she should be the first person to get this information.
"Mother!", I screamed, walking to her.
"What?!" she answered, annoyingly before taking a deep breath and changing her tone.
"What is it, darling?"
"I'm pregnant".
Her legs uncrossed, "Don't spew such an abominati-".
"I'm pregnant for King Ron, The Legend.".
