Review: Light Wielding and Other Mortal Magics

Very engaging read! Sunday's voice as a narrator feels exceptionally natural. Detailed but straightforward descriptions keep everything easily to visualize despite the highly imaginative setting. The story also brilliantly uses common fairytale elements through the interplay of Sunday using her knowledge of those tropes to her advantage while the world she finds herself in forces her to constantly question them. Looking forward to reading more!
