Chromatic Judgement

In a future society, every citizen must choose a single color upon turning eighteen. From that day forward, nearly everything they own, wear, eat, drive, and decorate with must be that color.

The only exception is that citizens earn the right to use additional colors by performing verified acts of kindness, sacrifice, or service to others.

Over time, a person's color palette becomes a public record of their character.

A person who reaches middle age with only one color is widely suspected of being selfish, narcissistic, or unwilling to help others.
