Chapter 1

Opening

A person can rightfully claim to be an author even if they have only written one book; a book maybe they've published or maybe not. Perhaps it isn't a book at all but just a rough manuscript. That person can still be defined as a writer, right?

Or, as with every profession do they need to exhibit dedicated and perhaps even credentialed evidence of their position and title as an author? If a person performs CPR on another person, does that make them a doctor?

RoderickE -- Roderick Edwards is a writer. Not a writer that went to school to be a writer but one that went to life to learn his trade. The best, most creative "creatives" haven't followed a program or a step-by-step process laid out to them by a textbook. But this isn't about RoderickE. He's just the foil wrapping on the sweet treat within this story.

You open doors. Open packages. Open new adventures all the same way. You look for the lever or the handle. What is the lever to this story? What allows you to enter?

If you are an author--a creative (aren't we all some sort of creator), then your mind is already swirling with ideas. Ideas bombarding other ideas that require you to pull them apart and make sense of the chaos. To convey to the recipient what you intend. This is the Opening. Walk through. Dive in. Crash. Jump. However.
